					Leyform has obtained and mantain the quality management system for the production process following the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 requirement which has been finally granted by the international certification company DNV - Det Norske Veritas. It has a positive feetback on the product quality and on the customer service.

					Leyform has improved the environmental “impact” of its production developing an environmental management system aimed at getting the Environmental Certification UNI EN ISO 14001:2004, which has been finally granted by the international certification company DNV - Det Norske Veritas.

					Leyform considers the correct management of the enviromental issues as an important factor for the sustainable development of the company and carefully evaluates the impact on the enviroment of each single process, including all direct and indirect activities, both inside and outside of the company.

					It indicate the new European norms EN 1335 1-2-3, with reference to the seating position at the workstation equipped with video terminals in terms of dimensions of the seat and how it have to be determined, the safety requirements in general for mechanisms, adjustment, etc. and the safety test methods like stability, seat/ back of seat fatigue, armrests, castors, etc.

					It indicate the new European norms EN 1335 1 with reference to the dimensions Test.

					It indicate the new European norms EN 1335 3 with reference to the Safety and resistance tests.

					It refer to capt. VII of the Italian D.Lgs. 81/2008. In partcular it explain how are the requirements for the Italian authority for workstations seats equipped with video terminals. It has been released for seats with adjustable lubar support and that are A o B type compliant for European norms EN 1335.

					BS 5252-2:2000 24/24h test: British standard test on chairs for 24 hour use and by people weighing up to 150 kg.

					EN 1728: Method of test to determine the resistance and durability; EN 13761: Dimensions and safety, visitor chairs; EN 12520: safety, resistance and durability, chairs for domestic use; UNI 8582/84: frame fatigue test; UNI 9083/87: drop test; UNI 9088/87: static load on side legs; UNI 9089/87: backrest impact test.

					UNI 8594 : Flexion resistance test for table tops for tables model ARNO 3 and ARNO 4.

					It refer to the fire retardand certification 1IM for the upholstery relased by the Italian authority and requested in Italy for public areas as meeting and congress rooms, restaurants, hotels, bars, etc.

					It refer to the Homologation to fire prevention: Class 1 for non upholstered items.

					GS stands for geprüfte Sicherheit, or tested for safety, and the GS mark is a voluntary mark of safety recognised far beyond Germany. In the field of consumer and workplace protection, it is intended to be a guarantee that technical requirements for safety have been met, and that they are tested and regularly monitored by an independent institution (an authorised body, such as LGA).

					The Trevira CS fabrics such as SERIE 100, 200,300.400 can be easily washed , dry up fast and they keep unchanged . They have passed the Martindale abrasion test from 50.000 to 100.000 cycles (according to the fabric type) and have passed the major fire retardancy tests; when coupled with fire retardant urethane foams they are certified as Class 1M.

					Xtreme Plus ® is a very elegant and contemporary fabric proposed by Leyform , which is available in 60 colours and it has been dyed without metallic dyestuff. It has achieved 100.000 cycles of the Martindale abrasion resistance test and does no not produce pilling; it passed many fire retardancy tests such as the cigarette and match test BS EN 1021 - 1/2 2006 , it complies with BS 7176 crib 5, and it is classified Classe 1, M1 and B1. Moreover , it is washable. In combination with our standard fire retardant polyurethane foam the classification become 1IM.


					AMBLA fabric – available upon request - is recommended for healthcare environments for it is resistant to most mild acids, alkalis, drinks and household stains and is washable.



					The Nappa leather cat P is a full grain soft touch type and is anyline dyed with organic water repellent finish; it may show natural irregularities (small scratches, scars etc.) which are the proof of the genuine leather product and cannot represent a complaint reason.

					Scotchgard™ protector protect the leather from liquid stains for longer time. The protection is within the leather (not as a surface coating, only), it is impercettible to the eye and to touch as well as leaving no residual odourus.


					The Chrome free leather is particularly suitable for person sensitive or allergic to chrome. De-chroming is an innovative process that takes place after leather is tanned. The process neutralize the chromium salt deposit that remain after the tanning with an eco-compatible method that dramatically reduces harmful waste out-put into the enviroment.
